The Grove Inn Policies

  • LODGING POLICIES

    Thank you for your reservation! The Grove Inn has limited front desk hours. Please be sure to send us your direct contact information so we can share vital information with you prior to your arrival.

  • STRICT CANCELLATION POLICY

    For direct bookings at a non-discounted rate, cancellations can be made up until 7 days prior with no penalty. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will be subject to a penalty of 1 night room and tax. 

    Non-refundable reservations will be charged the full amount of booking. 

    No-shows will be charged 1 night room and tax.

    Reservations made by a third party, like booking.com, Expedia, and hotels.com,  are subject to the cancellation policies listed on individual websites. Please note: booking modifications and cancellations must be made through the third party. Our front desk agents are unable to assist you with modifications or cancellations of any third party reservations.

    For your protection and peace of mind, we strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance.

  • SPECIAL NOTE ON CANCELLATIONS DUE TO COVID

    Our cancellation policies apply to all reservations. As we are a small inn, any reservation prevents another potential guest from booking and rooms do not get rebooked easily at the last minute. If you believe you may have been exposed to COVID prior to your arrival, we recommend purchasing travel insurance.

  • RESERVATIONS MADE WITH CREDIT CARD REWARDS (Chase, Amex, etc)

    For reservations made using credit card reward points, please contact us directly to provide us with your telephone number and email. Unfortunately, this information doesn't get passed along to us, but is required to send you after-hours self check-in instructions. Without this information, you risk not being able to access the Inn on arrival.

  • CHILDREN AND PETS

    Guests checking in must be at least 18 years of age. The Grove Inn reserves the right to verify, at their discretion, the guest's age by their driver’s license, national ID card, passport, or similar.

    - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult.

    - Children age 5 and under stay free.

    - Pets are not allowed on premises.

  • CREDIT CARD CHARGE POLICIES

    By making this reservation, you confirm that the provided credit card details are valid, and that The Grove Inn may charge the provided credit card at any time prior to the guest's arrival.

    By submitting your credit card information, your room will be held for you. The guest on the reservation must be present with a credit card and photo ID at check-in.

  • DEPOSIT

    Upon completed check-in, the credit card provided by the guest will be authorized for $100 for any incidentals. The authorization hold is released immediately after check-out, but may take up to 7 business days to clear, depending on your banking institution

  • MAXIMUM ROOM OCCUPANCY

    All of our rates are based on double occupancy. Please note the maximum occupancy per room. Our rooms with a queen bed have a maximum occupancy of 2 people, while rooms with two double beds have a maximum occupancy of 4 people. For additional guests, an extra person fee of $30.00 plus tax applies.

  • LOST KEY CHARGE

    Lost key charge is $250.

  • SMOKING

    All our rooms are non-smoking, as are the hotel premises. This includes vapes and other smoking devices, as well as candles, incense, etc. There is a $500 cleaning charge if you smoke in your room as well as refusal of service in the future.

  • TAXES

    All final reservation totals include TOT (transitional occupancy tax) and Tourism District Tax, total 15.05%.

  • QUIET HOURS

    For the comfort of all our guests, please observe the quiet hours between 8PM and 9AM.

  • LOSS LIABILITY

    The Grove Inn does not assume responsibility for loss of money, jewelry, devices (computing or otherwise) or any other valuables. We are not responsible for contents left in guest rooms or guest vehicles.

  • ROOM DAMAGES AND THEFT

    We may charge your card post-departure for any damage to the room or for theft of any room items.

  • COVID-19

    While our staff take the utmost care in providing a clean and safe environment for all guests, we do not take responsibility for any COVID-19 infections during or subsequent to your stay. By signing this reservation folio, you agree to waive your rights to any and all damage claims relating to COVID-19 towards The Grove Inn and its staff.

  • PRIVACY POLICY

    We handle with utmost care all guest information, including credit card details and email addresses, provided to us either directly by the guests or by third-party booking services.

    Contact information provided by the guest is used only for purposes related to their stay, and is deleted after check-out.

  • FIRE DETECTION SYSTEMS AND OTHER EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT (SIGNAGE, DETECTORS, ETC.)

    Guests or visitors found having tampered with any such emergency equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the hotel due to their actions. The Grove Inn reserves the right to involve law enforcement, depending on the severity of damage, and the resulting issues.

  • RIGHT TO SERVICE REFUSAL

    The Grove Inn reserves the right to refuse service to anyone deemed not in compliance with these terms of service.

  • CLEANING

    Our cleaning staff provide daily room cleaning throughout your stay. To cater to our guest preferences during the pandemic, please leave the "Do Not Disturb" sign on your room door if you do not wish to have your room cleaned.

  • BICYCLE STORAGE

    We have limited storage availability for bicycles, accessible only during front desk hours (9AM-5PM). If you need access to your bike outside of these hours, we recommend renting bikes per day. Bikes, hoverboards, skateboards and similar may not be stored in guest rooms, and will be removed by staff.
